Blog Probes Real Estate Models
Posted by CityBlogCA on March 30th, 2008
www.REALonomics.net is a blog that is asking serious questions about where the real estate industry is going. More specifically, REALonomics poses challenges to the broker/owners to adopt models that will allow their organizations to become more transparent.
REALonomics.net advocates that the industry open up the property information portals to consumers and upgrade its approach to how it is interacting with the consumer by implementing more social networking such as www.CityBlogUSA.com, a community blogging network for every city in the USA.

great a place Calaveras County and especially the Mountain Ranch area is to live.
Maybe it’s just the onset of spring and the wildflowers or maybe it’s just the promise of warmer days to come that makes us happy to be here. Just the other night the Youth Alliance put on their annual dinner dance and what a warm feeling to watch all the people volunteer to help stage the event and those that made it their evening’s entertainment.
Maybe it’s watching the Little Leaguers getting out and playing baseball at the park or the old guys (and gals) playing softball. One of the Little League coaches from over in Amador County asked what tax source we had to maintain such a nice ball field. When he was told it all was a volunteer effort, he couldn’t believe it!
Maybe it’s watching the garden start to flower and grow (stay away Bambi!) or maybe it’s just the chance to spend some quality time in the yard doing all those necessary things to keep the place from looking wild.
Maybe it’s the smell of burning pine needles from the annual effort to keep wildfires at bay or the smell of the seasons first barbeque. Mmmmm tasty!
It could be just the friendly greetings you get when you go in to shop at Sender’s Market or the wave you get (and give) driving down the road. Hi Neighbor!
It might be the old time political picnic where your friends come out and listen politely to the candidates talk about how they are going to fix things. (not that anything is broken mind you).
It could be the distant views of Blue Mountain after a snow storm or even in the middle of summer or spending some time at the ole water hole with your toes dangling in the water on a hot summer day.
It could be the long summer nights when the heat is off the day and the bats come out for their evening meal (go bats! Get those mosquitoes!) or waking up to the sounds of birds chirping in the yard.
It’s probably a little bit of all those things, but what really makes living here wonderful is the fine people that one gets to meet and over time gets to know. Having them over for a relaxing dinner, being invited over for the same at their house. We don’t think it’s possible to do any better anywhere and we often arise in the morning and give thanks for the opportunity to live and work in the most special place we know.
Thanks Mountain Ranch!
